Community Pot Luck open for all 5:30-10PM

Hi Friends and Neighbors,

We host a community pot luck on the 24th of December.  The bar will open at 5:30PM. Our kitchen has the night off but Debi cooks a Beef Roast, Pork Ribs and Baked Potatoes with all of the trimmings. Dinner will be served at 6:30pm and another round might come out at 7:15  if it’s not all eaten before that. We wrap up around 10PM.

Please bring a dish to share (about 8 portions, or the amount you’d put on your two plates) and $15 for the tip jar (staff is still working :)).  We recommend veg or vegan dishes as we only have potatoes for that section, though if you cook it with meat, it will be eaten! If you bring an appetizer, please arrive before 7PM so it can be eaten before dinner.

Please know the ingredients for your dishes, we will have flash cards for you to write the ingredients on. Please have your food come hot or in a dish that can be heated in the oven and served. We are not providing serving dishes or platters for the event.

We have dessert covered usually with some repeat guests that have their specialties.  We waste the most desserts year after year, and the homeless we bring the leftovers to appreciate the non-sugary items more.

We will have $20 bottles of wine from our cellar of various types. It’s the time to drink the excess inventory from events.

The bar is open for regular guests for drinks, if you don’t want to participate in the pot luck, no worries! We would love to see you on this night. Be part of our community, meet new friends, enjoy time with others. For all of our guests without plans, we invite you to join us.
